HLCA WEBsite MAINTENANCE

With the expanding vision and responsibilities of HLCA, its website needed to evolve to support these efforts.

The HLCA is a charity, and its operations are dependent on the generosity of its members and volunteers – their time, talents, and financial support. Technology helps greatly in lessening the burden on everyone. The new website enables HCLA to move forward in a much more efficient and agile manner.

PROJECT DETAILS

Thanks to a generous anonymous donation, the HLCA has a new logo and has upgraded its website to enable the organization to better engage, communicate, collect, and share information with our community and stakeholders. The site was under construction but is back online! Over the rest of 2023, we will continue to grow the site with more content and create a key site — the go-to site — for all who live or care about Hudson Lake. Our photo contest is a way for you to personalize the site. If you have details that could enhance the site, please share them. The site posts lake levels, shares documents, and collects lake events to name a few of its offerings.

PROJECT WORK

We have a talented team who have been tremendously helpful in building our new site. However, building bench strength on our team to provide backup is important. As we continue to enhance our site, there are ongoing and new tasks to be performed. Your services are welcome. Training would be provided. We are looking for people who have experience in any of the following: Excel, marketing, MailChimp, communications, social media (Facebook & Instagram), merchandising, website management, and SquareSpace.

We could use help to work on website updates; training would be included. We need to set up processes to gather local and relevant events and news. The “Have a Story to Share” contact button in our News section is a start!

It takes a community to keep Hudson Lake healthy and enjoyable. Anyone interested in working on This PRoject, please reach out to us at info@hlcaindiana.com.

Give Where it Counts.

Life happens at the speed of “Oh My Gosh,” so if you are tied up with the day-to-day, perhaps you could become a supporter of projects that are dear to your heart!
