Community Lake Watch
It’s impossible for HLCA staff to be everywhere all the time, so we rely heavily on your ability to send us information to effect change in all areas around the lake. You are our community lake watch – reporting lake events or statuses.
PROJECT DETAILS
The HLCA website is intended to be the official collection site of statuses and events on or around Hudson Lake. These will be shared with the LaPorte Drainage Board and Indiana DNR alike at a summary level. The data is considered private for official use only. Submissions are confidential – contact information is used for verification, follow-up and legitimacy purposes only.
PROJECT WORK
If there is an issue you have noticed that you feel we need to address, please feel free to use the “submit status/event” button in the “Help Us in Our Efforts” section. Let us know what the event was, when and where it happened, and who or what was involved. We will contact you to discuss the matter further as soon as possible.
For residents who signed up to monitor areas on the lake, your
status updates related to Lakeshore Drive (open/closed/maintenance/safety/parking), public ramp (lake level issues/garbage/parking/other), drain (appears to be open), ditch (flowing/gate opened) and other sites are also entered here.
